On Monday 8th of April a SitS! contingent of Mandy Basson, Lee Westbrook and Dr Simon Carroll were invited to attend the Optimal Care Pathway Consumer Engagement Summit hosted by Cancer Council Victoria. Representatives from a number of cancer advocacy and support groups held broad ranging discussions about improving accessibility to the ‘What to Expect’ documents to assist patients who have been diagnosed with cancer, from point of diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship or palliative care.
