Our annual West Australian Sarcoma Awareness Week will be from June 29th – July 5th.

The Shine a Light on Sarcoma! campaign will be running again with venues around the state lighting up in our pink and teal. Take a photo and post on social media using #lightsforsarcoma2020  Even more exciting, Shine a Light on Sarcoma! will be taking an extra special step this year – more coming soon! We will be having information displays in some of the libraries so do keep a look out! Don’t forget to wear your ‘odd socks’ or caps to show support, take a photo and post it on social media with tags @sockittosarcoma and #sockittosarcoma

If you would like to get involved, you could hold an event to share awareness and information about this rare cancer or join someone else’s event. Talk to someone about the symptoms; ask your GP if they have the information about what to do or who to contact if they suspect that it may be a sarcoma diagnosis and refer them to us or the State Sarcoma Service. Of course, you can be a sarcoma advocate all year round by doing these things.
